Bayhill Pointe Swim Team

Arrival/Warmups:

We ask that swimmers please be on deck by 5:15p.m. Bayhill warmups will be from 5:40 to 6:00p.m. and the visiting team warmups will be from 6:00p.m. to 6:20p.m. Meets will begin at 6:30p.m. 

Volunteers:

All Volunteers, please check your Swimtopia App for your job assignment and if you are serving as a first or second half volunteer. Second half volunteers, please be ready to switch with first half volunteers at the end of backstroke

General Reminders:

Please bring the following items to the meets (be sure to label everything!) : 

• Team suit (should be worn during races) 
• Team cap 
• Goggles
• Towel 
• Money for concessions (optional) 
• Blanket or chair (optional - seats go fast!) 
• Please DO NOT bring any glass containers onto the pool deck 
• Please mark the back right shoulder of your swimmer with their first initial, last name, event, heat, and lane number - all of which can be found on the heat sheet.

If you have any questions please find a coach or board member at the meet and they will help you.

Seating on Deck:

Bayhill families are asked to sit on the left side of the pool deck (closest to the baby pool) as well as the back of the shallow end of the pool. The right side of the pool deck (shallow and deep end) is left for our visiting team. You are welcome to bring chairs & canopies as seating and umbrellas become scarce at swim meets.

Baby Pool:

Please be mindful that the baby pool is closed for swimming during the meet. Seating inside the baby pool area is totally fine, but no person should be in the baby pool water at any time during the meet.

Parking:

Please allow our visiting team to park in the pool parking lot. Overflow parking is available on the right side of Erika Hill Drive and both sides of Battlecreek Drive beyond the crosswalk at the pool entrance. Parking is not permitted on Battlecreek Drive adjacent to the median at the neighborhood entrance. Please be considerate of Bayhill Pointe residents and DO NOT park directly in front of mailboxes or driveways.
